Urth Caffé now has competition when it comes to being an all
around delicious café on my go-to munchies list. From sandwiches and burgers to
hand crafted cocktails and delicious pastries, Alcove Café is split down the
middle with a bar area to the left and a garden type dining area right outside
to cater to big parties, small parties, or if you just want a sandwich and
drink to go with it. Good eats and good drinks all in one over here!
So we ventured out here during dinnertime however; Alcove offers
a great looking breakfast menu that is available all the way to 5 p.m. Sorry
Urth, but they have you beat on that one.
You may be wondering why I am comparing this to Urth Caffé
and the reason is that these two cafés are practically cousins when it comes to
their menu. Alcove has a way larger menu than Urth but some similar dishes are
seen from both restaurants. You can find a Panini style sandwich such as the
Steak Reuben, salads done in multiple ways, and other cold/hot sandwiches that
are both unique to the restaurant. Come here for a light lunch, hearty dinner,
and even 3 course meals with available appetizers and baked goods available
right in the café. Pair your meal or finish the job with a cocktail right next
door or grab a coffee on the way out to tackle the rest of your day.
Alcove Café is doing it right people with alcohol and
delicious food; what more could you ask for? Great bar stock, sandwiches,
burgers and pastries are all available for your pleasure when you visit here.
Casual meets classy cuisine here and the ambience with gourmet food just can’t
get any better. Get up and enjoy!
